Mile IQ App Review – Don’t Miss out on Mileage Expenses

I am a massive productivity technology fan. I love cool gadgets, amazing websites and game changing apps.

I like to showcase my favourite finds in to what has become known as my Gadget Hack. I put together a quick overview so you can decide in under 2 minutes whether it's something worth your time.

My Gadget Hack this week is Mile IQ.

What is it?

MileIQ is a smartphone app which automatically tracks and records your mileage in the background as you drive your vehicle for business. MileIQ users save an average of $6,900 (approx £5,300) per year.

How can it help me?

If, like me, you claim back mileage (or have to record your mileage) for expenses/accounting purposes then Mile IQ is a life saver. Trying to keep a record of the exact routes I took, remembering all my journeys and trying to calculate how much could be claimed back for business purposes was a time consuming task.

I believe that probably every month I would forget a journey I had taken or short change myself in one way or another by not correctly recording my car journeys, parking or tolls.

With MileIQ it's automatic. I don't even have to switch the app on when I'm about to make my journey. As long as I have my phone with me (which is always) my journey is recorded. At then end of each month a full report with mileage and cost calculations is emailed over to me for my expense claim. Simple!

Today's #Gadget #Hack is Mile IQ which automatically tracks and records your mileage as you drive on #business.
